Condolence From: Sheila Kimminau
Condolence: Winters in Colorado can be quite challenging sometimes and we had to navigate a steep hill to get to our home. Many times we could not make the hill in either the station wagon or the gremlin that we three girls drove (sure all you VanDevanders remember the gremlin!!) Dr. Van would always show up and either climb in the back seat or ride the bumper to help us up the hill. I don't know how he always knew we were having trouble but we grew to depend on him and his ability to get us up that hill. How fortunate we were to live in that neighborhood with the entire VanDevander family. Our families grew to be very good friends which I feel we are very blessed. Our condolences to you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
